Cute Work Outfit

Fall Classics

Ruffle Oxford by J. Crew

Love the timeless tassles on this wonderful tote bag by Cole Haan.

Perfect for Casual Fridays, Happy Hour with the girls, or Saturday errands. The merino v-neck overloaded with necklaces could also look great with or without the blazer. Also, I think rolling up the sleeves of the blazer (when paired with jeans) is an easy way to make the outfit more laid-back and casual. (outfit by J. Crew)

My Everyday Bag for Fall

Rebecca Minkoff

Rebecca Mikoff's bags are simply splendid.  I found this bag in July and have since gained an unhealthy habit of finding ways to pair it with every outfit.  The shade of green is great because it goes so well with everyday colors like blacks, whites, beiges, and greys.  It also is a great work bag (yes, it fits my macbook!) and is great for weekend shopping with jeans and flats.  Also, the leather is exceptionally soft and has a nice way of molding to my body (not like some of the bulky/boxy bags that I have noticed this fall).  Will have to post outfit ideas with said bag soon!

Fall Doings

Some Ideas...

Carve a pumpkin.
Learn how to use my digital camera. (I've bought my Cannon Digital Elph over a year ago--perhaps time to read the manual??)
Go apple picking. (and enjoy the apple farm's donuts, even if the line is long--the fresh ones are worth the wait.)
Take pictures of apple picking outing with my new-found camera knowledge.
Make a scrumptious apple pie.
Love the changing colors of the leaves in Connecticut this fall. (This is the first time I've been in my home-state in October in 6 years, wowza.)
